Job Description: Tasks will primarily include the following items:
Proposals: oversee preparation, production, and submittal of technical proposals & qualifications packages
Lead tracking: review publications; follow-up on potential leads; track projects
Marketing databases: data entry and maintenance on corporate and personnel databases, coordination of & with four other offices
Proofing & editing: work with technical staff to prepare technical documents, general materials, and industry articles for publication
Department document maintenance: maintain files, logs, distribute information

RIM Architects - Proposal Writer/Marketing Coordinator, Honolulu, Hawaii
Title: Proposal Writer/Marketing Coordinator
Reports to: Marketing Manager
Classification: Full time / Exempt
The Proposal Writer/Marketing Coordinator is primarily responsible for proposal writing for RIM Architects Guam and Hawaii, with assistance to other RIM locations as needed. Other duties include assisting with the development and maintenance of marketing and business development systems and records, preparing brochures, press releases and other marketing/public relations materials. Focus will be on marketing initiatives. This highly interactive position works collaboratively with employees in RIM locations in Alaska, California, Guam and Hawaii.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Organize, write and produce proposals utilizing information provided by staff members related to project information, graphics, fees, cost data, design criteria, production techniques, approach, etc. in accordance with RIM’s brand.
Initiate, write and maintain project descriptions for use in proposals, brochures, award submittals, etc.
Initiate, write and maintain resumes on firm personnel.
Write and issue press releases for new employees, employee promotions, new projects and other projects deemed “promotional” by firm.
Develop, update and file all government forms relating to business development, such as the SF 330.
Assist with brochure production, write biographies and generally provide collateral materials for use by the firm.
Prepare presentation materials for current and perspective clients as well as for in-house use. This is generally regarded as Power Point and printed graphic materials.
Maintain working knowledge of subconsultants and secure their appropriate information for proposals as may be required.
Gather/assemble project and related RIM data helpful in the marketing process.
Write correspondence of a general nature relative to business development; write correspondence of a technical nature with input from staff members as appropriate.
Assist in the coordination of information for design and related award programs.
May also perform special projects and other business-related duties as delegated.
